Hollywood celebs Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson spotted in Leeds
The pair were seen with UK comedian Jason Manford as they were filming their new project

Two Hollywood celebrities have seen filming in Leeds as they work on their latest project. Kiefer Sutherland and Rebel Wilson have both been seen on set here in Leeds as they work on a new film ‘Tinsel Town’. The Sky Original film is about a Hollywood actor cast in a local town’s production of Cinderella. Known for his roles in ‘The Lost Boys’, ‘Flatliners’ and ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me’, Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland has appeared in countless Hollywood productions. Meanwhile, Australian actress Rebel Wilson has appeared in films like ‘Jojo Rabbit’, ‘Pitch Perfect’ and ‘Bridesmaids’.
However, their latest film has brought them right here to Leeds, and they’re wasting no time enjoying the local culture. Comedian Jason Manford, also set to appear in ‘Tinsel Town’, said the pair had treated the cast to a staple of northern cuisine, Greggs.

Posting on Twitter, he wrote: “Good old Kiefer Sutherland & Rebel Wilson treated the cast of Tinsel Town to a northern delicacy up here in Leeds! Good old @GreggsOfficial!”
Also joining them were Danny Dyer, Asim Chaudhry and Lucien Laviscount, who will also appear in Tinsel Town. Tinsel Town features Kiefer Sutherland as Hollywood action star Bradley Mack, who ends up travelling to England to rebuild his career. Attempting to star in a West End production, he instead ends up cast in a small town production of Cinderella. Joined by an eccentric cast, he soon warms up to the group, under the direction of choreographer Jill, played by Rebel Wilson.
About the film, Kiefer Sutherland, who was born in London, said: “I’m thrilled to be working back in the UK and with director Chris Foggin. The cast is fantastic, and I can’t wait to tell this story.” Rebel Wilson added: “I love British Christmas movies – because in Australia we’re just on the beach having a BBQ – and so now I feel like I get to have a classic British Christmas – freezing my t**s off but laughing and sledding all the way!”
The film is due to release on Sky Cinema for Christmas 2025.
